Grotowski .<br>Since 1987 she has been practising hatha yoga consistently under the guidance of Moreno Lupetti (Italian Yoga Federation), in the tradition of Swami Shivananda and Krishnamacharya.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #703c89;\">Ashtanga Yoga<\/span><br>A searching spirit, in 1993 he organised an ashtanga vinyasa yoga retreat in the Umbrian countryside with Danny Paradise.<br>He then continued practising ashtanga vinyasa yoga under the guidance of Lino Miele, organising retreats and workshops for him in Umbria, also following him on all his retreats in Italy and several northern European countries.<\/p>\n<p>During these years Carla was Lino Miele&#8217;s assistant in the studio and carefully followed the Indian method and tradition of Shri Patthabi Jois.<br>In 1996 she travelled to India (Kerala) where she studied for a month with John Scott, Guendoline Hunt, Lino Miele and Tina Pizzimenti and then went to Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore.<br>The following year he was again in India for a month&#8217;s retreat with Lino Miele and stayed in Kerala practising for another month under John Scott.&nbsp;<br>In 2003 she left Lino Miele&#8217;s school and dedicated herself to the search for a new reference that could help her experience yoga also from a philosophical and spiritual point of view and that could better focus on alignment and awareness in the practice of yoga.<\/p>\n<p>She practised and studied in Rome with Tina Pizzimenti, in Crete with Radha and Pierre and attended several workshops with David Swenson and Shelley Washington, and with Mark and Joanne Darby.<br>In 2006 she attended a teacher training with Nancy Gilgoff in Vienna.<br>She organised several workshops with Manju Pattabhi Jois, son of Shri K., in Perugia. Pattabhi Jois, and with him a teacher training retreat in Umbria.<br>In 2005 he was in London to attend a teacher training with Richard Freeman.<br>Among all these experiences, the teaching most akin to Carla&#8217;s personality is that of Richard Freeman, who is still her teacher and guide in the practice of ashtanga today. From 2005 Carla follows him in his teacher training in London and Vienna .<br>In 2008 she went to Boulder (Colorado) to attend the teacher intensive with Richard Freeman and his wife Mary Taylor.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #703c89;\">Meditation<\/span><br>At the age of 23 he began to experience meditation following Zen Buddhism and Vipassana meditation, inspired by the theatrical experience of Grotowski&#8217;s school in which life is lived as a theatre of roles and the theatre is the \u2018free zone\u2019 where it is the body that speaks and communicates and the words break the silence with preciousness and profound meanings.<br>In 2004 she began attending meditation meetings in Assisi led by Father Anthony Elenjimittam, a pupil of Mahatma Gandhi and founder of the Sat Cit Ananda centre. Father left the body on 5 October 2011 and Carla thanks him from the bottom of her heart for all the love, coherence, poetry and passion he transmitted in his teachings.<br>For some years, she then followed the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, who is always a source of inspiration.<br>His beloved and important references are, in addition to the wonderful texts of the yoga tradition, the masters Krishnamurti, Vimala Thakar, Suzuki-roshi, but also mystical women such as Margherita Porete, Simone Weil and Etty Hillesum.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #703c89;\">The Tantric Yoga of Kashmir<\/span><br>From 2008 to 2010, she attended a two-year course in Milan on the study and in-depth study of Tantra Yoga philosophy texts held by Alessandro Mani\u00e0.<br>For several years now, she has been following the teachings of Eric Baret in the Kashmiri tantric yoga tradition, a source of inspiration for perception, listening and silence in yoga practice, meditation and life.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #703c89;\">Chanting and music<\/span><br>During his years of yoga practice, he attended Sathyananda&#8217;s ashrams in Italy to learn the practice of kriyas and kirtans. Carla tanks to Guru Puja.<br>She often collaborates with musicians and sound explorers during her retreats and events.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #703c89;\">Children&#8217;s yoga<\/span><br>She organised a children&#8217;s yoga teaching course with Didi Ananda Paramita at InYoga Studio, also following her teachings in Parma.<br>She shares her knowledge of painting and theatre games, singing and dancing with children. She loves writing stories and fairy tales for children to represent through yoga asanas.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #703c89;\">InYoga Studio<\/span><br>In 2008 she opened the Centro InYoga Studio in Perugia together with her husband Giampaolo Piazza.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2007 she has been associated with <span style=\"color: #703c89;\">YANI (Yoga Associazione Nazionale Insegnanti).<\/span><br>She has written several articles on the practice of ashtanga vinyasa yoga for the magazine \u2018Percorsi\u2019 published by YANI and has conducted an interview with Richard Freeman that was published in the magazine Yoga Journal.<\/p>\n<p>She dedicated almost twenty years to the study and practice of shiatsu massage.
